These Terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Orbyte. They explain who may use the service, what you may do, how your content is handled, and what can happen when the rules are broken.
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use an Orbyte account. You may not provide a false birthday or help someone below the minimum age access Orbyte. If Orbyte reasonably determines that an account belongs to someone under 13, the account may be disabled until the user becomes eligible. The user can appeal the decision. When an email is attached, Orbyte may keep it for up to 90 days only to send the restriction notice, provide restricted recovery access, and let the user replace it with a verified parent or guardian email or remove it. If no action is taken, the email is removed automatically.
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password and sign-in details secure. Do not sell, transfer, share, or automate access to an account in a way that creates abuse or avoids enforcement. You must not impersonate Orbyte, staff, another person, or another service in a misleading way.
You must follow the Community Guidelines. You may not use Orbyte for harassment, threats, scams, phishing, malware, account theft, privacy violations, exploitation, coordinated abuse, enforcement evasion, or unlawful activity. Attempts to break, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security and rate limits are also prohibited unless Orbyte has explicitly authorized the testing.
You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Orbyte a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, process, resize, reproduce, display, and deliver that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, back up, and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or share the content.
Server owners, moderators, bot developers, and webhook owners are responsible for how they configure and operate their communities and integrations. Orbyte may remove content, disable invites or integrations, reset misleading information, restrict a server, remove a server, or act against responsible accounts when a community or integration is used for abuse, scams, or rule evasion.
Orbyte may review reports, messages, attachments, account information, server activity, and other relevant evidence to investigate possible violations. Enforcement may include warnings, content removal, feature limits, server action, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension. Decisions consider context, severity, intent, history, and risk of harm. Eligible decisions may be appealed through Account Standing.
Orbyte Plus is an optional paid account upgrade. Core messaging and community access remain available without Plus, while Plus may provide higher upload limits, additional customization such as custom multi-color themes and profile backgrounds, subscriber badges, Diamonds, call customization, or other benefits shown in the Plus feature chart. The exact benefits, limits, price, duration, and whether a checkout is one-time or recurring are the terms shown to you before purchase.
Payments may be processed by a third-party checkout or payment provider. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and for any taxes or fees disclosed at checkout. Trials, promotional codes, gifts, and purchased gift codes may have eligibility rules, expiration dates, or redemption limits. They may not be resold, exchanged for cash, duplicated, or obtained through fraud, chargebacks, payment abuse, or technical exploits. Orbyte may revoke improperly obtained Plus access or virtual rewards. A 7-day Plus pass may also be offered for 10 Diamonds while Plus is inactive. A 7-day Plus gift may also be purchased for 10 Diamonds and shared as a single-use gift code. Diamond-funded Plus passes and gifts do not include the 50-Diamond monthly subscription reward and do not automatically renew. Refund rights are determined by applicable law and any terms presented at checkout; nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights.
When Plus expires, Plus-only features may become unavailable. Orbyte may preserve associated settings, such as a custom profile background, so they can become available again if Plus is reactivated, but Orbyte does not guarantee permanent storage of Plus-only customization. Plus benefits may evolve over time; material changes will be communicated where reasonably practical.
Diamonds and virtual items are service features, not money, stored value, or property. They cannot be sold, transferred for cash, or redeemed outside Orbyte. Orbyte may correct balances obtained through errors, abuse, fraud, chargebacks, or manipulation and may change rewards or availability with reasonable notice.
Orbyte is provided as available. Features may change, pause, or stop, and the service may experience bugs, interruptions, security incidents, or data loss. Keep independent copies of anything important. Orbyte does not guarantee that every feature, message, attachment, or account will always remain available.
You may stop using Orbyte at any time. Orbyte may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, or respond to security risks. Where practical and safe, Account Standing will explain the action and whether an appeal is available.
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Orbyte is provided without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Orbyte is not responsible for content, conduct, purchases, promises, or external links supplied by other users, servers, bots, or third parties. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived.
Important changes will be announced in the app. When a new version requires acceptance, Orbyte will block normal use until you review and accept it. The version and acceptance time may be recorded on your account.
Questions about these Terms, enforcement, or account access can be sent through the Orbyte Support Center. Reports and appeals must be honest and must not be used to harass or punish another person.
Be decent to people, protect others from scams and harm, and use common sense. These guidelines are intentionally clear without being unnecessarily strict.
Do not harass, threaten, stalk, or target people because of who they are.
No phishing, malware, token grabbers, scams, or fake login pages.
Do not expose private information or intimate content without permission.
Do not build communities mainly for abuse, scams, impersonation, or evasion.
Actions can range from content removal and warnings to feature limits, server changes, suspension, or bans. We look at severity, intent, repetition, account history, and whether someone tried to fix the problem. Good-faith mistakes are treated differently from deliberate abuse.
This policy explains what information Orbyte handles, why it is used, when it may be shared, how long it may be kept, and the choices available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Orbyte website, desktop and mobile clients, servers, direct messages, calls, social features, bots, developer tools, support tools, and other Orbyte features that link to this policy. It does not govern independent websites, bots, payment services, wallet software, or integrations operated by third parties.
Orbyte uses information to create and secure accounts; deliver messages, calls, files, servers, profiles, notifications, and social features; synchronize devices; personalize settings; provide support; operate bots and authorized integrations; prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and account compromise; investigate reports; enforce the Terms and Community Guidelines; maintain reliability; diagnose bugs; and meet legal obligations.
Depending on the feature and applicable law, processing may be necessary to provide the service you requested, protect users and Orbyte, comply with legal obligations, or act with your consent where consent is required.
Information you post in public or shared spaces can be seen by the people who have access to those spaces. Server owners and moderators may manage their communities and review content available to them. People may copy or reshare content they can access. Review a server's audience and your privacy settings before sharing sensitive information.
Orbyte does not sell personal information. Orbyte does not use the donation page to sell features or unlock account privileges.
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. Retention depends on the type of information, whether the account remains active, safety and security needs, ongoing appeals or disputes, legal requirements, and whether the information also forms part of another user's conversation or server history.
When an account is deleted or no longer needs to remain identifiable, Orbyte may delete information or disconnect it from the account. Some messages may remain in shared conversations with identifying account details removed where appropriate. Safety evidence, audit records, and enforcement history may be kept longer when necessary to protect users, prevent repeated abuse, resolve appeals, or comply with law.
For an account disabled because it does not meet the minimum age, an attached email may be kept for up to 90 days for the restriction notice, restricted recovery, appeal updates, and the choice to replace or remove it. It is removed sooner when the user requests removal or a verified guardian contact replaces it.
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use an Orbyte account. If Orbyte reasonably determines that an account belongs to someone below the minimum age, access may be disabled while preserving a way to appeal. Orbyte limits the processing of restricted accounts and follows the retention process described above.
Orbyte uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect accounts and information, including hashed passwords, session controls, permission checks, access restrictions, audit records, and abuse monitoring. No service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, protect login links and codes, review authorized apps, and report suspected account compromise promptly.
Orbyte and its infrastructure providers may process information in more than one country. Where required, Orbyte will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and will continue to protect information under this policy.
Orbyte may update this Privacy Policy as features, practices, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be announced in the app or through another appropriate channel. The effective date and version shown above identify the current policy.
Privacy questions and requests can be submitted through Settings → Support Center. Before a public launch, the Orbyte operator should ensure that its legal name, business address, privacy contact, and any required representative or data-protection contact are accurately published.
